The Development AI System

A practical cohort for programme reporting

Your team knows what happened in the field. Getting that into a donor-ready report costs hours of rewriting, chasing, and reconciling, every reporting cycle. This cohort builds a documented system that closes that gap, in six sessions, twenty-three hours total.

Built for the people who write the reports

Programme leads

Own the reporting cycle end to end and need it to run without last-minute reconciliation.

M&E officers

Manage field data across teams and need it consolidated into something a donor can read.

Finance staff

Build the variance narrative that ties budget figures to what actually happened.

At NGOs, international development consultancies, and donor-funded projects who write recurring reports and manage field data across teams.

Not a certificate. A working system.

Not This

A certificate

  • A credential with nothing behind it
  • A generic example, not your material
  • Nothing your organization keeps using
This

A working system

  • A reviewed reporting workflow built on your own project's material
  • A validation process that catches errors before they reach a donor
  • A documented responsibility structure your organization keeps using after the cohort ends

Six sessions, one working system

Checked against how the sector works

Project DPro PMI / PMP Framework

This is not a certification and does not claim to be one.

The method is cross-checked against Project DPro (PM4NGOs' project management guide for the development sector) and the Project Management Institute's PMP framework. It means the sequence you follow in this cohort has been checked, session by session, against how these frameworks describe field monitoring, reporting, quality review, and role assignment.

Built in, not bolted on

Data protection

Session 1 covers what field data is safe to bring into an AI tool.

Disclosure

Session 5 is where your draft gets checked before anyone outside your organization sees it.

Human decision point

By Session 6, you leave with a one-page AI-use policy draft your organization can adopt.

Every session carries the same standard: beneficiary data protection, disclosure about where AI was used, and a human decision at every point that matters.

Questions

No. The cohort starts from your current reporting process, not a technical baseline.
Any tool with a free tier works for most of the cohort. Sessions 3 through 6 also show what a paid tool adds, so you can decide what your organization actually needs.
Yes. Bring your own donor format. Sessions 3 and 4 are built around your material, not a generic example.
Both. Each session is a working session, not a lecture. You leave with documents, not slides.
The call is a fit check, not a sales pitch. You'll get a roadmap for your specific reporting situation either way. If it's a fit, we schedule your cohort seat. If it's not, you still leave with the roadmap.
